A dilemma

A lot of people have mentioned that I "should post more pictures of myself wearing the outfits" on my blog. While that does sound incredibly creepy, I know what they mean and frankly, I agree. But there are a few dilemmas I need to work out first...

Since I'm usually the one taking the picture of my own outfit, I have to figure out a clever way to do this. "Why not a full length mirror?" you might ask. Well, because honestly my room is always such a mess that you wouldn't be able to focus on the outfit I'm wearing, just on the tornado of a mess behind me.

I saw on a another blog, the idea of taking the picture looking down. As in, holding the camera at your chest area and taking the picture looking down at your shoes. I tried this, it does work, I just have to get the hang of it.

In the meantime, I've experimented a little bit and posted them on Instagram. I'll post a couple and see what I (you) think. Sound like a plan? I think so. Also let me know if you have any ideas, they are greatly appreciated!!!

Oh and PS, I just realized I am posting this on April Fools Day...I can assure you this is not an April Fools joke! I hate April Fools Day, so there will be none of that from me :)

Pinterest

Okay, it’s official, Pinterest has become my weekend obsession. (You can follow me here!) The reason I say “weekend” is because I try and stay off of Pinterest as much as possible during the week. One moment I’m trying to work, then I wander to Pinterest. Next thing I know an hour has gone by and I have gotten nothing done but pin the cutest outfits I have ever seen, the most delicious looking food, and various houses and interior designs that I could spend hours staring at! All that set aside, it IS the weekend, which means it’s perfectly acceptable for me to be zoning out in Pinterest land :)
